The 8th Collared Knit Sweater is cut in a 420 gsm cotton knit — genuinely substantial, with the weight and structure that separates a sweater you wear once from one you reach for all winter. The collar gives it a finished, deliberate look: it sits up, it holds its shape, and it turns a plain knit into something you can wear to dinner as easily as to the wood.

The knit is midweight and clean, with ribbed cuffs and a wide ribbed hem that anchor the silhouette. The placket opens at the neck without buttons — an easy V that layers over a tee, a slim polo or nothing at all. There is no logo on this one. Just our woven label at the inside back neck and the Bramble & Eighth hangtag, which is the quiet approach we take across the whole range.

In four neutral colourways — black, light grey, cream and charcoal. All four do the same job, which is to go with everything already in the wardrobe. Wear it open over a tee in the shoulder season; buttoned to the collar — well, there are no buttons, which is the point. It reads considered without asking for attention.

Wear it with the knit maxi skirt for the full knit look, or over the flared joggers when the weather turns.

Fit & sizing

Relaxed through the body with a straight line and a wide ribbed hem. Take your usual size for the intended easy fit; size up if you want it roomier over a shirt, or down if you prefer it closer.
