The 8th Mock Neck Zip Cardigan is knitted in a substantial 420 gsm — heavy for a knit, which is the point. It holds its shape, it hangs properly, and zipped up it does the job of a light jacket without the bulk. Cropped at the waist, with a ribbed mock neck that stands on its own.

It's built to be worn two ways and both are useful. Zipped up the mock neck sits high and the ribbed hem keeps the shape, which is the jacket end of what this garment does. Worn open it's a cardigan over a tee or a bodysuit — the version that earns its place through the shoulder season and into the cold.

The weight is what separates it from the thin knit cardigans you've owned. At 420 gsm the knit has real body: ribbed cuffs that stay put, a wide ribbed hem that anchors the cropped cut, and drop shoulders that keep the line relaxed rather than squared. It doesn't cling, and it doesn't collapse.

In black, mild apricot and grey. Black and grey will go with everything you own. Mild apricot is the one that lifts the outfit and makes the rest look deliberate.

Fit & sizing

Cropped at the waist, relaxed through the body, with a drop shoulder and a wide ribbed hem. Take your usual size for the intended relaxed fit; size up if you want to layer it over a knit, or size down if you prefer it close.
